A Night to Remember is an upcoming free zine inspired by the fan-hosted event Deepspace Gala to celebrate its one year anniversary in 2026.The zine is planned to be printable at home for consumers but will not be personally shipping out any hardcover copies or physical merch.Zine content will be divided into themed sections inspired by the gala:

Expectations
Applicants must be at least 18 years old.Contributors will be expected to complete one (1) piece for the zine.Pieces created for the zine must be new. Reusing a past work prior to the zine is not allowed.Works will not be shared publicly during the creation process. Previews of full pieces may only be posted when the mod team allows.Discord is a requirement to have easy access to communication during the course of the zine.Harassment, disrespect, AI usage, and theft history will not be tolerated. Any applicants that are found to have engaged in any of the following will be barred from the zine.
Application Guidelines
Portfolios
Portfolios must be accessible. We will not reach out if your portfolio link is broken or unaccessible.
Samples should be of similar quality and style being produced for the zine.
Pieces featuring any of the LIs are encourage, but not required.
NSFW samples will not be accepted. Inclusion will result in disqualification.
Artists
At least one (1) sample should be fully completed with a background
3 to 5 works minimum
Merch Artists
At least one (1) sample should be fully completed
3 to 5 works minimum
Writers
At least one (1) sample should be completed and standalone, not an excerpt from a longer fic.
3 to 5 works minimum, between 1.5k to 2.5k words.

A “zine”, short for “fanzine” or “magazine”, is a collection of creative work (most commonly illustrations and writing), usually focused on a theme or character.This particular zine is themed after the Deepspace Gala fan event.What was the Deepspace Gala?
